So to be honest I’m getting really bored here with nothing to do. So I’ve decided I’m going to try and do another project, hopefully this time with more participants. 

For the project I was thinking of videos, but not videos of fans saying they love McFly or anything like that. My idea was to have you guys create promotion trailers McFly, you know like a movie trailer.

As far as promo goes it’s a lot easier to spread a link then to physically go out and do promo with posters and things.

So would you guys be interested in doing this? If you are just like this post, if enough people like it I’ll make another post with more details about the project.

EDIT: This project would be open to everyone, not just the USA. The videos can be used to promote in whatever country.

So this one was kind of thrown together rather quickly which is why there was no post like “new project being announced tomorrow,” but that’s ok because there isn’t anything complicated about it. All it is really is a fan letter to McFly from the North America fans. @Dominique_Sara came up with the idea and even though there is no guarantee that the letter will accomplish anything it’s a chance for us to finally say what we’ve been feeling about the whole situation. So instead of having just one person write the letter we decided to let all of you contribute. We’ll take all the letters and put them into a tumblr post and hope that McFly sees it. I’d try and keep them as short as possible while still saying what you want to just so the post doesn’t turn into a novel. You can just drop your letters in my ask box. The deadline is June 11th so don’t procrastinate! The sooner we get all the letters the sooner we can post them.

I know you guys have already been tweeting and emailing* her but now it’s time to launch the rest of the campaign, video, more specifically YouTube. Unlike the I Love McFly video project you won’t be sending me the videos; you’ll be uploading them online and tweeting the links to Ellen.

These videos need to do a couple of things
1.Give some info on who McFly is.
2.Give some reasons why you love McFly
3.Give some reasons why they should be invited on the show
4.Be creative!

These is no time limit for these videos as you’ll be uploading them on your own but I would try not to go too long so people won’t lose interest. Another thing I should mention is that you should share the link to your video anywhere else you can think of. Get as many views as possible, the more people who see it the more people are aware of our mission. There is no deadline but I’d suggest uploading them ASAP, no reason to procrastinate.

You DO NOT have to be in the USA to participate. It’s open to anyone everywhere who’d like to see the boys on the show and help us bring them here.

Here it is guys! The 1st big Mission McFlyUSA McFlyNorthAmerica project.

Purpose: The purpose of this project is to raise awareness about the McFlyUSA McFlyNorthAmerica mission.

This project is open to any McFly fans in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

 Submissions need to be emailed to mcflyusaradio@gmail.com by June 20th with the subject line reading, “McFlyUSA* I Love McFly: Name (first and last), State/Providence”

*If you are in Canada change McFlyUSA to McFlyCanada and if you’re in Mexico change it to McFlyMexico. 

What we need from you:

• A video no longer than 20 seconds of you saying “Hi I’m {insert name} from {insert state/providence} and I love McFly.” If you wish you can include “I’ve been waiting {blank} years to see McFly.”
• Group photos from street teams. These can be group shots from meetings you’ve had or a photo collage with pictures of the members of the street team.

In addition to this we will feature one or more fan covers of a McFly song as the music in the video. It can be a cover of any McFly song from any of their albums. If you want to submit your cover send an mp3 or video of your cover to the same email address as above with the subject line “McFlyUSA* I Love McFly Music Submission: Name (first and last), State” also by June 20th. Depending on the number of music submissions there may be a vote to decide which covers make it into the video.

*Same as the before. Change it to McFlyCanada or McFlyMexico if that’s where you’re from.

Normally I tend to have bad luck with video projects due to lack of participation. I’d really like for this specific project to be a success so PLEASE send in a submission. If we want this video to make any kind of impact we need as many people to participate as possible.
